VAANDU is seeking to hire skilled Programmer Analyst (Hybrid) to help with the development of our projects. Programmer Analyst perform the jobs of both a systems analyst and a computer programmer. Systems analysts design and develop software and computer systems. Computer programmers implement the designs by writing computer programs as well as updating and repairing existing programs.
Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Responsible for enhancing and updating existing code, performing server encryptions, encrypting communication in internal web servers, maintaining databases, logging risk assessments, testing web portals and implementing scripts.
- Database management systems including Microsoft SQL, JIRA, and MYSQL.
- Develop Software Applications such as Perl and Java.
- Utilize software: Microsoft Excel (Stat Tools, Power Pivot, Linear Regression), Microsoft Access, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
- Supporting corporate data warehouse projects and support issues.
- Engage with business analysts providing technical design solutions.
- Develop data models to support report requirements.
- Develop reports and dashboards.
- Perform programming for data models.
- Utilize Programming languages such as R, R Studio, MySQL, Python, and Nosql.
- Create and modify database objects including tables, indexes, views, and triggers.
- Perform environment management by submitting and processing change and helpdesk tickets, as well as providing execution of code and job monitoring.
- Execute procedures for application deployments and code review.
- Utilized Web analytic tool or digital analytic tool such as Google Analytics to collect and analyze data related to website traffic, user behavior, and other web-site-related metrics.
- Business Intelligence tools such as ZOHO One, Tableau and Power BI to help users analyze, visualize, and share business data.
- Act as a liaison between end users and business area to maintain reliability and operation of supported systems.
- Provide technical solutions to business needs.
- Conduct troubleshooting to resolve production issues and bugs within settled service levels.
- Utilize Software tools such as OTM and Citrix to abstract relevant data.
- Provide support to users 24/7, overseeing the management of production problems and ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Hybrid work model: 1 day in office/ 4 days from home.
